squared circle
battlezone

Squared Circle Battlezone is a game in which two wrestlers are pitted against each other in a one-on-one matchup. Using the attributes given to each wrestler in combination with the randomizers, this luck-and-skill-based combat system allows you to battle for ultimate supremacy in a fight to the finish!
The game rules allow a single player to battle against an opponent of their choosing, or two players to take each other on head-to-head!
RULES:
1) Choose two wrestlers to face each other using the dropboxes supplied. You can choose from 48 wrestlers to begin with, though I plan to add a lot more through regular updates to the game's roster, including both current WWE superstars and "classic" wrestlers from years gone by. The roster will include both male and female wrestlers, and the game will allow males and females to be matched evenly against each other.
2) You'll notice that each wrestler has values assigned to eleven different Attributes, including Brawling, Speed and Endurance, amongst others. The match will progress over a series of rounds using the randomizers, and the textbox supplied will allow players to keep track of each wrestler's Health during the match. I recommend starting with a Health value of 100 for each wrestler, though feel free to adjust this value for a longer or shorter matchup. (You can also set the two wrestlers' Health values to different amounts, should you wish to give one player an added advantage.)
3) At the beginning of each round, use the "Attribute" button to generate a random Attribute for the round. If one wrestler's value for the chosen Attribute is higher than his or her opponent's, this will give that player an advantage going into the round.
4) Hit the "Fight!" button to generate a random number from 1 to 20. Add this number to Player 1's value in the previously chosen Attribute to create an Attack Score for this round. (For instance, if your wrestler has a value of 15 in the chosen Attribute and the "Fight!" button generates a 10, your Attack Score for the round is 25.)
5) Repeat Step 4 to generate an Attack Score for Player 2, and then compare the two players' Attack Scores. Whichever player has the higher Attack Score wins the round, and the difference between the two Attack Scores is deducted from the losing player's Health. (For instance, if Player 1 has an Attack Score of 25, and Player 2 has an Attack Score of 20, Player 2 must deduct 5 points from their Health.) The textbox can be used to keep track of the math should you prefer to do so.
6) Repeat Steps 3 through 5 until one player's Health reaches zero. When this happens, the match is over, and the other player is the winner.
The game rules also allow for team-based play, if the two players wish to match teams of wrestlers against each other. Use the textbox to keep track of each wrestler's Health, and then decide how many wrestlers will be on each player's team, as well as which wrestler is going to start the match for each player's team. Anytime a player wins a round, he/she has the option of "tagging out" and bringing another member of his/her team into the match. The match ends when a wrestler's Health reaches zero, giving the other player's team the victory.
If you want to play a team game by Survivor Series elimination rules, wrestlers are eliminated from the match when their Health reaches zero, and the match ends when all members of one player's team have been eliminated.
Again, certain elements of the game rules (such as the starting Health values of each wrestler) are open to tweaks or minor changes to allow for different styles of matchups. Feel free to create and shape your own SCB match experiences, and have fun!
